Local favorites, hidden gems & two adorable adoptable pets inside

Good Morning Chester County,

To all of those like me who enjoy getting as much time in the sun as possible, fret not, because daylight saving time begins this Sunday (3/9).

Now that our phones, cars, smart watches, etc. all automatically adjust I find myself oddly nostalgic for the days where everyone would remind each other to set the clocks back/forward. You always knew the one person you could count on to remind you.

Who else ran the vicious cycle of: wake up, see all the clocks are wrong, tell yourself you’re going to change them, forget, and then find a week later you are just naturally adding/subtracting time to “have it right.”

…just me?

Oh well…

This is what we’ve got on tap:

  • St. Patty’s Day Celebrations coming next week!

  • Spring events on the way…

  • Adoptable pets that will make your ❤️ melt

  • Fleetwood Mac tribute and 30+ local events to keep your calendar full

The Blend

A curated mix of local stories, updates, and announcements from our team.

💡 Spring is aaaaalmost here

I know I sound like a broken record over the past couple of weeks…but I can’t wait for the warmer weather.

Outdoor events, not wearing 4 layers when I walk the dog, and people are just generally happier…what’s not to look forward to?

So I was curious…

What type of spring activities do you most look forward to?

♥️ Adoptable Pets of the Week

🐶 Meet Myrtle

Myrtle is a sweet 6-year-old Terrier mix (17 lbs) who adores cuddling and loves children. Recently surrendered and heartbroken, this housebroken, crate-trained pup with a small body and big personality is looking for a forever home where she can be your devoted companion and the only pet in your life.

🐱 Meet Churro

Churro is a gentle long-term resident who's overcome food allergies with his special diet and is finally blossoming after being rescued from a 30-cat home. This shy but affectionate boy loves head rubs, chin scratches, and playing with wand toys, and is searching for a patient person with a quiet home who can maintain his dietary needs and give him the loving forever home he deserves.

A closer look at the standout events happening this week

When: Friday, March 7th @ 8:00 PM

Where: The Colonial Theatre, 227 Bridge Street. Phoenixville, PA 19460

What to expect: You can “Go Your Own Way” this weekend, but why would you when The Seven Wonders brings their electrifying Fleetwood Mac tribute to our local stage? “Don't Stop” thinking about your chance to see this fantastic cover band that has been receiving praise nationwide for their unique take on Fleetwood Mac’s incomporable music.

With authentic renditions of classics like "Dreams," "Rhiannon," and "Landslide" and more, their high-energy performance promises to transport you back to the golden era of rock. “The Chain” of hit after hit will have you reconnecting with the music that defined a generation.
