Now that the Eagles are champs again the karmic balance of the universe has corrected itself, so peace + prosperity will ring throughout the world (or something like that).

Now that we’ve all had time to process Sunday’s game, we’re curious:

❤️ Adoptable Pet of the Week - Senior Edition

Both of the animals this week are featured from the Brandywine Valley SPCA (BVSPCA) and are 8+ years old.

At the BVSPCA they have a program where any cat/dog 8+ years or older has their adoption fees waved if adopted by someone 65+.

My hope is each week we send the newsletter out we are able to help connect someone to their new best friend, and give these animals the peace & love they deserve.

🐶 Bonded Pair - Meet Cole

Cole was surrendered to the BVSPCA in West Chester when his owner could no longer care for him. This patient senior pup has only ever known a home, so the shelter has been tough on him.

🐱 Meet Canyon

This sweet golden girl was rescued from a hoarding situation.

Although currently a bit skiddish, the BVSPCA team reports that she warms up when she gets to know you (and especially likes scratches behind the ears).

Give Canyon a chance and help her learn to love again.

A closer look at the standout events happening this week

To make sure everyone has enough notice and time to buy tickets, the featured event for the next two week is Kennett Winterfest

When: Saturday, 2/22/25 - Entry starting at 12:30 PM

Where: 600 S. Broad Street, Kennett Square, PA

What to expect: Your ticket gets you access to 80+ breweries offering unlimited tastings, live music, local vendors/workshops, and great food.

Not a drinker? No problem! There’s an “NA” ticket option (at a reduced cost) that gets you unfettered access to the event, a specialty mocktail, and NA beer samples.

The event is held outdoors, is strictly 21+, and no pets are allowed so please plan appropriately.
