☕️ Eagles Win, Snow Falls, & a Phoenix Rises

+25 other can't miss events throughout ChesCo this week

Good Morning Chester County,

We hope that watching the Eagles win on Sunday was enough to make up for the fact that you had to spend the rest of your day shoveling snow.

Each passing day with low temps in the single digits reminds us of just how much those first few days of early spring weather will feel like heaven.

Until then, bundle up…we’ve got events to get to!

This is what we’ve got on tap:

  • Don’t Miss the Burning Bird

  • Churro & Oliver looking for homes

  • +25 other ChesCo events happening this week to keep you busy

🦅 Snow Won’t Stop The Birds

We think Rob McElhenney (from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) said what everyone was thinking after this weekend’s game:

Last week, we asked you where you prefer to watch the Eagles: At home or at a restaurant/bar.

We learned a couple things (and had some good laughs):

First: The majority of us like to watch the game in our comfy clothes at home

Second: There are some of us out there that, for the safety of others, choose to stay home for fear of harming TVs that may not be yours or people that may not understand your…passion.

However you like to watch, it’s safe to say that we’re all enjoying this playoff run.

🔥 A Reminder For Firebird Fest!

One of the area’s most unique annual events is coming up on February 1st!

The Phoenixville Firebird Festival typically takes place right before the new year; however, due to the burn ban that was in effect the event had to be rescheduled.

This local favorite is in it’s 21st year of celebrating local arts, and I promise you, it is an event you won’t regret attending.

Good vibes all around, great music, and you get to watch a 20 foot statue lit aflame…what’s not to like?

We’ve got more info below in our featured events section!

🐶 Adoptable Pets of the Week

🐶 Meet Oliver

With a brain as big as his ears, this handsome pup is eager to meet his forever family. Described as a dashing mix of intelligence, outdoorsy, and loyal to those he trusts Oliver has been waiting for an owner that can give him the home he deserves.

🐱 Meet Churro

Just like his name suggests, Churro is a sweet and quiet cat who was rescued from deplorable conditions. During his stay at the shelter he has begun to come out of his shell and now eagerly awaits head and chin scratches from volunteers. After years of mistreatment, he’s ready for a forever home.
