This weekend we all received our first taste of brief reprieve from this brutal winter cold.

Pretty funny how 38*, sunny, and no wind can feel like a warm spring day after a handful of weeks in single digits & the teens, right?

If you’re looking for me this week, I’ll be outside in the sun doing my best impression of a lizard.

Lord knows I need the vitamin D.

🇺🇸 Fundraiser Focus

We’re spotlighting a local non-profit this week working to bring awareness to different issues affecting the lives of our country’s Veterans.

Moore for the Troops, a local Chester County & veteran-based nonprofit will be holding their second annual fundraising 5k run/walk on April 5th at Octorara High School.

This year their mission is to bring awareness to Agent Orange and the effects that Vietnam Veterans are living with due to their exposure to the chemical.

Last year their 5k generated over $10,000 in donations that went directly to the VA Medical Center. This year, all donations will be going to Riddle Hospital.

West Chester Restaurant Week is still going on through Sunday, March 2nd!

When: All week! Sunday, 2/23 - Sunday, 3/2

Where: West Chester borough

What to expect: Some of West Chester borough’s most popular restaurants are offering exclusive prix fixe menus this week with new and limited-time menu items.

Each multi-course meal is either only $40 - $60 per person and reservations are highly recommended.

Step into an immersive world of music at Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience

When: Friday, February 28th, 2025 at 7:00PM

Where: Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall

What to expect: Yesterday and Today: The Interactive Beatles Experience is not just another Beatles tribute band–it’s a unique experience that puts the audience in control.

Performed by brothers Billy, Matthew and Ryan McGuigan and their band, the show relies on the audience to choose the entire set list.

Before the show, audience members are asked to fill out a request card with their name, favorite Beatles song, and the reason why they chose that song. Minutes before the show starts, these cards are collected, and a custom set list is created based on the audience’s requests. Throughout the night, the band weaves the audience’s personal stories, and the McGuigan’s own heartfelt memories attached to the Beatles’ music, into the performance, creating a one-of-a-kind narrative that makes every show different.
