Wednesday is a holiday double-feature, so we would like to wish all members of our community who celebrate a very Merry Christmas and a happy first night of Hanukkah! With Kwanzaa starting on Thursday, this week is full of celebration.

We’ve never mixed eggnog with latkes before…but we’re going to give it a shot.

This week you’ll notice the events section is highlighting a few NYE parties happening next Tuesday (12/31). We want to make sure everyone has time to plan properly.

We’re always looking for ways to improve, so this week you’ll notice a survey asking about what events you want to see more of. Do us a favor and let us know your thoughts!

Meet Roxy: Your New Best Friend

Roxy is a 54-pound pittie mix with a heart of gold who, despite a rough start spending most of her life outdoors, has blossomed into an eager learner who knows commands like sit, wait, and leave it.

This affectionate 5-year-old loves nothing more than hiking trails, getting belly rubs, and snuggling up for some quality couch time. While she needs to be the only pet in her forever home, Roxy's sweet nature and zest for both adventure and relaxation make her the perfect companion for someone looking to give this deserving girl the loving indoor life she's always dreamed of.

🐱 Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about our feline friends: Meet Shamrock

This playful 10-month-old has a signature swagger from an old injury, but it doesn't slow him down one bit. At 8 pounds of pure charm, Shamrock is an affectionate treat enthusiast who loves chasing wand toys and being held. Former stray, future solo star – he's looking to be the only cat in your life.

The Featured Event this week is Have a Ball! New Year Family Event by Chester County Historic Center

Where: Chester County History Center, 225 N High St, West Chester, PA 19380

When: Saturday, 12/28/24 | 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM

What: Looking for a fun way to kick off 2025 with the kiddos? Join the Chester County History Center for their "Have a Ball" celebration, where your little ones can get creative making their own awesome New Year's party kit!

We're talking handmade party hats, noisemakers, and a chance to write down those big dreams for the year ahead. Plus, every child gets to decorate their very own cookie – whether they want to save it for the big countdown on New Year's Eve or sneak a bite right away (we won't tell!).
