Good Morning Chester County,

As always, thank you to all subscribers new and old for joining us this week.

Now that Spooky Season is over, we’re in full fall swing. I’m talking craft fairs every weekend, pumpkin-flavored everything, and sunset at 5 pm. If you listen closely in a quiet room, you can hear the faint sounds of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” beginning to echo across the airwaves.

Unless you live under a rock, have no phone/internet access, and have not turned on the TV in the past 6 months you know today (Tuesday, Nov 5th) is election day.

Regardless of your political affiliation, we can all agree that simply having the right to vote is something not to be taken for granted.

We wish you speedy lines at the polls! And remember…ONE LAST DAY and we can say goodbye to non-stop text messages and calls for the next couple years!

One of our subscribers sent in this great example of peace in the morning as seen from Reeve’s Park in Phoenixville. Those of you familiar with the area likely recognize the iconic clock positioned in the center right of the frame.

A fun fact: For those of you who have vacationed down to Bethany Beach in Delaware, the clock tower in the center of the boardwalk is made by the same company!

This week’s featured event is the Beer & Bagel 4 and 10 mile Run 

When: Saturday (11/9) & Sunday (11/10) starting at 9 am both days

Where: Yeager’s Farm & Market, Phoenixville, PA

What to expect: The beloved Beer & Bagel Off-Road Race Series returns to Yeager's Farm & Market in Phoenixville this weekend with an exciting new addition to its lineup. The weekend-long event now features two distinct races: a challenging 10-mile(ish) trail run on Saturday and the traditional 4-mile(ish) course on Sunday.

Participants can tackle either race individually or can embrace the challenge and complete both days to earn an exclusive “Squatchy Challenge Finisher's Medal.” Each runner receives a signature long-sleeve tech shirt that reads, “I’m a Drinker with a Running Problem” on the back. Enjoy post-race festivities featuring free bagels and beer – this quirky trail running event is a local favorite that perfectly balances athletic challenge with laid-back fun.
