We’re a sucker for a good sunset. Whenever I’m at Valley Forge, I think about all of the important history that occurred here. How lucky we all are to be so close to such a site. Do yourself a favor and spend a sunset around the National Memorial Arch, sunset happens right over the hill!

👻 Halloween Weekend at Levante Brewing (10/25-10/27, West Chester)
Levante Brewing transforms into a haunted taproom this weekend. Enjoy live music on Friday, a Halloween-themed vinyl night with DJ Ascendence on Saturday, and a canine costume contest on Sunday. Special brews and daily specials will be available. Check Levante's social media for contest details and additional offers.
🏃♀️➡️ 38th Annual Phoenixville Run (10/26, Phoenixville)
Phoenixville's annual running event returns for it’s 38th installment this year. The main event kicks off at 8:30 AM in Reeves Park, featuring 5K and 10K races, plus a Fun Run for kids under 12. Adult registration is $40 ($45 day-of), youth $20, and Fun Run $10. All participants receive a long-sleeve T-shirt. $1,100 in prizes for in-person winners, with additional awards for best costumes.
🍁 Coatesville Family Fall Fest (10/26, Coatesville)
Celebrate autumn with your neighbors at this free community event put on by the Coatesville Youth Initiative. Activities include games, pumpkin picking, and a costume showcase. Local organizations will distribute treats and share community resources. Enjoy seasonal food while connecting with other Coatesville families in a festive atmosphere.
🎃 West Chester Halloween Parade (10/23, West Chester)
Downtown West Chester lights up with costumed revelers, marching bands, and dance performances at this beloved annual parade. Kids can collect candy along the route, which begins at Church / Market Streets. Note: Streets close at 4:30 PM; event parking available for $10 at Bicentennial and Chestnut Street garages.

🧛♂️ Nosferatu (1922) with Live Theatre Organ (Oct 27, 2:00 PM, Phoenixville) Experience the classic silent horror film "Nosferatu" at the historic 1903 Theatre, accompanied by Wayne Zimmerman's live theatre organ performance. This 2-hour event blends cinema history with musical artistry, as Zimmerman, a veteran organist since the 1960s, provides a haunting soundtrack to F.W. Murnau's iconic vampire tale. Social media sensation Trey Kennedy brings his hilarious stand-up to Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall for one night only. Don't miss this chance to see the viral comedian's wit shine on stage. 🎃 Milky Way Farm Pumpkin Harvest (Oct 26-Oct 27, 11 AM-8 PM, Chester Springs) Embrace fall's bounty at this charming local farm. Your $5 admission (ages 3+) unlocks a 2-hour autumn adventure: wander through a corn maze, snap family photos, visit farm animals, and explore pumpkin patches. Bounce between inflatables, challenge friends to cornhole, and enjoy live music by Marchwood Music (1-3 PM). Food trucks on site with free parking.
